Harry Carry AT&T Commercials

You know, this guy was annoying as hell alive – when he finally croaked (and I’m not talking about his croaking voice) I was ambivalent. Some twits were heartbroken. Get a life!  I’ll never understand why anyone actually liked this annoying idiot.  So AT&T in their misguided attempt to appeal to Chicago-ites reincarnates him via a really bad impersonator. I either mute the volume or change the channel whenever his oversized-eyeglass faced, cheese grating voice pollutes my TV.  AT&T is so out of touch it’s pitiful.  Do they actually think they can convince people that a 512K (or 800K if you pay a fortune – and can get it!)  is faster than a 6 MIPS cable connection (or 10 MIPS if you want to pay for it)?!?  Cable is 100x faster than slow-poke-snail-pace DSL, and hiring some irritating hack will only convince like-minded morons.
